Focus and Scope

We are delighted to announce the 1st Ahmad Dahlan International Conference on Health Sciences (ADICOHS), “One Health: An Integrated Approach to Sustainably Balance and Optimize the Health of People, Animals and Ecosystems”, organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medicine, and Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan.

This event is scheduled to take place on May 20th, 2025, by online Zoom meeting. The objective of ADICOHS is to serve as a forum for researchers, academia, professionals, and stakeholders to collectively share information that can be used to address recent health issues and challenges. It additionally enables researchers to present and publish their findings and also offers great possibilities for building collaborative networks among experts from other countries.

The scope of the ADICOHS seeks to promote integrated and interdisciplinary research addressing the following key areas:

  1. Human, Animal, and Environmental Health Interconnections: Exploring the dynamics between human health, animal health, and ecosystems, focusing on integrated solutions.
  2. Infectious and Zoonotic Diseases: Research on prevention, control, and management of diseases transmitted between animals and humans.
  3. Sustainable Public Health Practices: Developing strategies for sustainable healthcare systems and equitable access to health resources.
  4. Environmental and Ecosystem Preservation: Examining the impact of environmental changes and promoting initiatives to sustain biodiversity and ecological balance.
  5. Pharmacological Innovations: Advancing drug discovery, pharmacogenomics, and biotechnology to address current and emerging health challenges.
